As a lot of you are aware Lion’s Den is moving premises on the 1st of October to 110 Cameron Street.
Due to the large amount of jobs needing to be completed and the upcoming school holidays.
Lion’s Den will be putting our classes on hold for the duration of the school holidays these dates being 26th September to 7th October.
The Last class at our old Facility being our Mums fitness class on
Friday 23rd September
Classes will resume on
Monday 10th October
At the new facility
110 Cameron Street.
Another thing to keep in mind is that with the move we have taken the opportunity to redo our registration forms, this means that everyone will be asked to complete the new registration forms upon arrival at the new gym. With this in mind we simply ask for your patience and cooperation as we set out in this new Chapter of Lion’s Den.

Lions Den Board
Well first week back at the Den and we have huge numbers already! Mums class and senior class started back on Monday 18th, Kids, Juniors and Fighters classes will start back the week of February 1st. We hope you all had a relaxing and blessed holidays with your loved ones.
Just a short reflection on 2015 and an update on our plans for Lion’s Den this coming year…
We had a lot of new faces join our Den family last year, and we also said goodbye to a few. Just before Christmas we said farewell to Anthea who had been training with us for over two years as well as going back to school to complete year 13. We wish her all the best for her new journey in Auckland!
We also had over twenty competitors represent the Lion’s Den across five competitions last year, including a group from our kids class. There are a lot of events lined up for this year including grappling comps, amateur and professional MMA events that we are keen to take fighters along to so they can put into practice everything they have learned at the Den. These events are are great way to interact with other MMA clubs from around the country, as well as seeing what makes us different from other gyms.
Our food bank is back up and running, so please keep those donations coming so we can go and give to families in need and really make a difference in our community.
Lastly, we are a registered charity who rely heavily on funding and personal donations. If you would love to get on board and support us by giving a little every week, check out our supporters page and join us in keeping the Den running so we can continue serving the community.
Lots of fundraising coming up this year, let us know if you are keen to get on board.
It’s gonna be a busy and exciting year!
God bless guys- see you at training!
So, an update from Saturday night…proud of all four fighters that represented on the North Shore on the weekend.
Jenn lost a decision, but fought so well against Ale Moss, a very experienced grappler and didn’t get taken down once.
Joseph won his fight by split decision against Brandon Quesada, also an experienced fighter, both putting on a great show.
Caleb unfortunately took a massive knee from Marc Leleivre in the last second of the first round…was doing so well prior to that, he can be proud of his performance.
Talor put on a great show in his first international fight against Asomoa Saili of Samoa, submitting him after a great takedown in the second round and finishing with a rear naked choke.
As always, many thanks to all who came and joined us to support the guys Saturday night, and also to everyone at home who was following the page. It’s really humbling to feel the genuine love and support within the Lions Den family.
Super proud of the fighters, represented the Den and more importantly The Lord.
All glory to God.
God bless everybody.
Saturday the 28th November we have 4 members of the pride mma team stepping into the cage once again. Make sure you get down and support them! Ticket available at dash tickets.
